The Road to Premier: Building This in the Open

I gave myself a goal this summer, and I want to write it down where I cannot quietly walk it back. In MAKE Wellness, the rank I am building toward is Premier Affiliate. I am going to tell you exactly what that means, including the number, because I would rather you see the real target than imagine some vague picture of success. Premier is not a paycheck. It is a rank defined by volume: 2,000 in Circle Sales a month. That is the whole goal, stated plainly, and the rest of this post is the honest version of how I am trying to get there and why I am doing it where people can watch.

I want to be plain about one thing up front, because it matters: I am telling you a goal, not a promise about money. There are no income guarantees here, mine or anyone's, and what a person earns comes down to their own effort and the customers they help. I am not going to show you a screenshot of a check, partly because I do not have one worth showing, and mostly because that is not how I want to sell anything to anyone, ever. What I will show you is the work.

What Premier actually is

When you join MAKE, you start as an Affiliate. The ranks climb from there: Rising Affiliate, then Senior Affiliate, then Premier. Each one is set by a single number, your Circle Sales Volume for the month, and your rank sets your commission rate. Premier sits at 2,000, and it is the first rank I would call a real one, the point where the rate steps up meaningfully and the structure starts to feel like a business instead of a hobby.

I am being careful to talk about rank and rate and not about dollars, and that is on purpose. What you earn depends on your volume, your costs, and a dozen things I cannot see from here, and anyone who quotes you a number they cannot stand behind is doing you a disservice. The honest, checkable fact is the rank ladder. The earnings are yours to work out for your own situation, the same way they are mine.

What Circle Sales Volume is made of

Here is the part that took me a while to understand, and that I think most people never get told clearly. Circle Sales Volume is not some abstract score. It is built from three honest things: the products you use yourself, the customers you personally help find what fits them, and the people you bring in who decide to do the same. Real orders from real people. There is a cap on how much of your own use counts, which I actually like, because it means the structure rewards helping others more than it rewards buying from yourself in a loop.

That design is the reason I am comfortable building on it. The volume that moves me toward Premier is the same volume that means I actually helped someone. The day a customer reorders because the product did what they hoped, that is the business and the point at the same time. And the commission on it pays out daily, which is a small thing that does something quietly important to your head: the work and the result stop being separated by a month.

Why I am doing it in public

I could build this quietly and only tell you if it worked. A lot of people do it that way, and I understand why. Announcing a goal you might miss is a way to be wrong out loud.

I am doing it in the open anyway, for two reasons. The first is that a goal I have said out loud is harder to abandon on a tired Tuesday. The second is the one that actually matters to me: I teach people to build things they own, on their own terms, and it would be hollow to teach that while hiding the thing I am building myself. If I am going to tell you that owning your own small engine is worth the discomfort, you should get to watch me sit in the discomfort. That is the deal. The actual plan, which is boring

The work that gets you to Premier is unglamorous, and I find that reassuring rather than disappointing. There is no clever shortcut hiding in it. There is a sprint I am giving myself: thirty days of two daily actions, every day, no exceptions I can talk my way into.

The first action is to make something useful, a post, a note, an honest answer to a real question someone asked. The second is to connect with one real person, not to pitch them, but to actually talk and listen and find out whether anything I do is useful to them. That is the entire engine. Content and connection, daily, for a month, not because thirty days is magic, but because a deadline is the cheapest discipline there is. The rank, if it comes, comes out the far end of doing those two boring things long enough that they stop feeling like a campaign and start feeling like how I live.

The timing helps. MAKE is launching in Canada on July 1, which means I get to build in my own country at the start of something rather than the middle. If you want to build alongside me

This is the part where a lot of posts get pushy, and I am not going to. If you are happy as a customer, be a customer, that is a complete and good answer, and the products I use are here with the reader discount applied. You never owe anyone a business.

But if you have been turning over the idea of building something small that is yours, where the income does not belong to one employer and the schedule does not belong to one shift, then the door is open and I am walking through it at the same time as you. I am not at the top of anything offering to pull you up. I am at the start of a sprint, saying it out loud, and you are welcome to run one next to me. That is the most honest version of an invitation I know how to write.

Most people who read this will file it under "nice for him" and move on, and that is fine. A few will set their own boring, specific goal and start their own thirty days. This is written for the few.
